Principal research fellow at the MRIZP with more than 30 years of research experience in maize breeding. She is the Head of the Group for the maize breeding, male sterility and doubled haploids.

Jelena Vančetović is the author/co-author of close to 100 maize hybrids released in Serbia and several released abroad and she has received numerous national awards for achievements in plant breeding research.
